SV	Waarom zoudt Gij zijn als een versaagd man, als een held, [die] niet kan verlossen? Gij zijt toch in het midden van ons, o HEERE! en wij zijn naar Uw Naam genoemd, verlaat ons niet.
WLC	לָ֤מָּה תִֽהְיֶה֙ כְּאִ֣ישׁ נִדְהָ֔ם כְּגִבֹּ֖ור לֹא־יוּכַ֣ל לְהֹושִׁ֑יעַ וְאַתָּ֧ה בְקִרְבֵּ֣נוּ יְהוָ֗ה וְשִׁמְךָ֛ עָלֵ֥ינוּ נִקְרָ֖א אַל־תַּנִּחֵֽנוּ׃ ס
Trans.	lāmmâ ṯihəyeh kə’îš niḏəhām kəḡibwōr lō’-yûḵal ləhwōšî‘a wə’atâ ḇəqirəbēnû JHWH wəšiməḵā ‘ālênû niqərā’ ’al-tanniḥēnû:

AC	ט למה תהיה כאיש נדהם כגבור לא יוכל להושיע ואתה בקרבנו יהוה ושמך עלינו נקרא--אל תנחנו {ס}
ASV	Why shouldest thou be as a man affrighted, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O Jehovah, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not.
BE	Why are you like a man surprised, like a man of war who is not able to give help? but you, O Lord, are with us, and we are named by your name; do not go away from us.
Darby	Why wilt thou be as a man astonished, as a mighty man that cannot save? Yet thou, Jehovah, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name: leave us not.
ELB05	Warum willst du sein wie ein bestürzter Mann, wie ein Held, der nicht zu retten vermag? Du bist doch in unserer Mitte, Jehova, und wir sind nach deinem Namen genannt; verlaß uns nicht!
LSG	Pourquoi serais-tu comme un homme stupéfait, Comme un héros incapable de nous secourir? Tu es pourtant au milieu de nous, ô Eternel, Et ton nom est invoqué sur nous: Ne nous abandonne pas!
Sch	Warum wolltest du sein wie ein erschrockener Mann, wie ein Krieger, der nicht helfen kann? Und doch bist du, HERR, mitten unter uns, und wir tragen deinen Namen; darum verlasse uns nicht!
